What is a Department?
The Department option allows for sharing and collaborating on Askverts with others with a 1Q account from your company. Users included in the “Department” can share Askverts, transfer credits, share custom panels, and monitor budgets.

Adding a User
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on My Department will open up a few different options, choose User
- Users within your department will display in the main window. Above the users, there is an option to Invite A New Department User. Enter the email address of the new user and assign them a role.
- Once you add them, the new Department Users will be sent an invitation with your name and the Department name.
Removing a User
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on My Department will open up a few different options, choose User
- Users within your department will display in the main window. Find the user you want to remove, then under the drop-down located on the far right select Remove Department User.
Changing Department Name
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on “My Department” will open up a few different options, choose Settings
- Department Name will be the very first thing you see on the page. Update the name and click save.
Viewing Usage
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on My Department will open up a few different options, choose Usage
- Enter the dates you want to view usage for
- Select Download Report
Sharing (or Unsharing) Askverts
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on “My Department” will open up a few different options, choose Settings
- Scroll down and you will see Share Department Askverts - just select the “Share” option and your Askverts will be shared with everyone in your department. If you want to stop sharing Askverts with your department, just move the toggle to “Don’t Share” instead.
Viewing Shared Askverts
- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Askverts
- This will take you to your Askvert page - find the Department Askverts
Transferring Credits - From Another User
Department Admins can transfer credits from one person in the department to another.

- Once you are in your account, use the left navigation pane to find My Department
- Clicking on “My Department” will open up a few different options, choose User
- Scroll down to Current And Invited Users then find the user you want to transfer credits from
- Find the Actions drop-down all the way to the right of the user and click. From there, choose Transfer Credits From
- This will open up a Transfer Credits window
a. Select the email address you want to transfer from
b. Select the email address you want to transfer to
c. Enter the amount to transfer
6. Select the Transfer button
